Race Entry and countdown to Race Day

Northburn100 Events start Friday 21st March 2025.

You must have your entry in no later than March 20th 2025.  Late entries may be available at the race organisers discretion but a late fee of NZ$20 will apply to the long distances.

  • 4pm – 6pm Friday at the marquee, Northburn Station – registration, gear check and ‘meet your fellow competitors’ Free shuttle to Northburn Station from Forage Cafe (the old Golden Gate lodge) at 4pm.

  • Free return afterwards also. Email terry@terrydavisevents.co.nz or text him on 0212846844 if you need a ride.

  • 6pm Friday at the Marquee – Pre race briefing (Also check out the pre race briefing page for video logs of the entire 100mile course!)

 

6am Saturday at the Marquee, Northburn Station (5mins out of Cromwell) race start. (42km, 50km, 100k and 161k)

  • 6pm 50km and 42km courses close (you have up to 12hours to complete these distances)- runners still on the course may be collected by a support vehicle at the race organisers discretion.

  • 7pm Sunday 5km and 10km night runs registrations (no compulsory gear for these races)

    8:15pm 5km and 10km briefing.

  • 8.30pm 5km and 10km start

  • 10pm 5km and 10km Prize giving

    Sunday 

  • 8am half marathon rego opens.

  • 9am half marathon start.

  • 12pm 42km, 50km and 100km lunch and presentations in the Marquee at start/finish area.

  • 12pm 100km course closes (you have up to 30 hours to complete the 100k distance)- runners still on the course may be collected by a support vehicle at the race organisers discretion.

  • 12pm rego opens for the Kids adventure race

  • 12.45pm Half Marathon prize giving

  • 1pm Kids adventure race starts.

Monday  

  • 6am 161km course closes (you have up to 48 hours to complete the 161km distance)- runners still on the course may be collected by a support vehicle at the race organisers discretion.

  • 10am 161km Brunch and presentations in the Marquee at start/finish area.
