Once again the weather added to the adventure with extremely high winds on top of the first 50km loop, some decent rain about the top of the second 50km loop and a couple of wee dustings of snow for the 3rd 60k loop! Surprisingly few complaints from competitors however – all part of the challenge I suppose.

best marked and most difficult race I have ever done (and
probably ever will do until I go for the 100 miler)
