  3. makai says:

How does this stack up against the HURT 100 (minus the lack of jungle). I will be coming off of that in January. Trying for a 100miler every other month in 2011.

    • lisa tamati says:

sorry dont know the HURT race . did you say 100 miler every other month? far out that is wild. ours will be easy for you then.
      awesome

    • northburn says:

Hey man, yeh I don’t know the HURT either but looking at their website we should be a dryer, cooler climate to run in and we do have some nice (relatively short) sections of flat in amongst the looong up hill and down hill sections.
      Terry.

  4. michael beaumont says:

hi team, what do you expect to be a good time on the course, under 24 hours?

    cheers

    Michael

    • northburn says:

Hi Michael – yes under 24hrs will be a very good time, I expect a top runner to finish in under 24 but most to come in around the 30-35hr area. You’ll see we have a nice generous cut off time of 48hrs though.

  5. Simon Clendon says:

Ooo, like the buckle. Me wants. Is it just for the 100 miler?

  6. Morgan Garandel says:

A race in my backyard! travel costs to the min.

    • lisa tamati says:

yes sorry about that, we hope to rectify the time clash next year. OH buts its fabulous down in cromwell, hint hint

  7. roger moroney says:

date may clash with ‘Tarawera Ultra’, cost of travelling down compared with Rotorua, may depend whether travel with someone else.
